It has become the norm for teams to be located in different places. Managing shared documents and recording meetings, notes and other information is not easy in those circumstances. Fortunately an eMerlin Place is somewhere to keep that information securely and it can be shared across the office and across the internet.

How We Can Help

An eMerlin Team Place is a special type of eMerlin Place designed to help teams work together. You can add notes and minutes directly into the team area through your browser, wherever you are. But it goes beyond that. The technology behind an eMerlin Place allows you to install "Connectors" which let you can save a Microsoft Office document directly into the eMerlin Place. The document can be placed in a folder in your eMerlin Team Place and others can work on it too. The document can be "checked in" and "checked out" so others know you are in the process of changing it.

For The Truly Mobile

Of course you can't use a web based system when your laptop is not connected to the internet. Well, actually that is not true - the technology behind eMerlin Places DOES allow you to do just that. You can access your Place when disconnected and update the content when connected again.
